India is set for the third phase of elections from May 7

India is going to vote in its third phase of elections tomorrow, i.e., on May 7, 2024. In this phase, 93 parliamentary constituencies would go for voting, which are spread across almost 11 states and Union Territories.

After finishing the third phase, polling would be done for a total of 283 constituencies. In this phase, five states would be in the race, including, Assam, Chahattisgarh, Goa, Karnataka and Gujarat. In Gujarat’s Surat constituencies, one of the BJP candidates has already declared won as all other nominations were either rejected or withdrawn.

As of now, BJP is the ruling party in many of these constituencies and hence it is being speculated that the BJP might have an edge in this phase.
