Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy is one of the trusted associates of CM Jagan Mohan Reddy and he has managed to retain the Macherla assembly ticket for the 2024 election.
Coming to the electoral prospect in Macherla, Pinnelli is said to be clearly ahead of his TDP counterpart here, Julakanti Bramhananda Reddy.
Macherla emerges as a battleground where the contest between Pinnelli and Julakanti is intense. Despite being a stronghold for the YSRCP, Pinnelli Rama Krishna Reddy faces minor anti-incumbency after four consecutive victories here.
However, his mass appeal among voters and grassroots work over the years have established him as a formidable force in the segment, bolstered by the YSRCP's loyal vote bank and Pinnelli's personal charisma.
On the other hand, Julakanti Brahmananda Reddy of the TDP has gained momentum. Though Julakanti’s presence providing moral support to the TDP cadre, it is not enough to touch the mass outreach that Pinnelli enjoys. The veteran firebrand is bound to sweep this segment in the coming election.
