This is the question the TDP leaders in AP are facing and they are unable to answer properly. It’s high time the answers come out. It is known that 8 people were killed during Chandrababu’s road show in Nellore district.
According to media reports, the road shows were planned in congested streets in most places which Babu visits usually. The alleged logic is that it can be shown as a massive swell of crowds in drone shoots and visuals that can be used to boost TDP’s image.
Although TDP announced big ex gratia for victims, it’s high time that safety precautions are followed by the opposition leader. What is required is little common sense to ensure their own party karyakartas don’t face risk to their lives, just for the sake of publicity. It’s high time TDP does a course correction.
