Telugu Desam Party Tirupati Incharge and Ex-MLA Sugunamma got emotional as she was denied ticket by the opposition alliance of Telugu Desam-Jana Sena and Bharatiya Janata Party. She was speaking to the media on Monday in Tirupati. As a prat of the alliance, the ticket was given to a Jana Sena candidate, A Srinivasulu.
Suguanamma questioned the TDP supremo, Nara Chandrababu Naidu on what happened to his surveys, and said that she has become in this political scenario. “I might cool down with your peace talks, but what about the cadre who are working on the ground for our victor. They would not understand,” said Sugunamma.
She further demanded that the alliance rethink its decision regarding the Tirupati ticket and consider her family. The Andhra Pradesh state is going for the polls on May 13, 2024, according to the official announcement by the Election Commission of India (ECI).
