The expected alliance between TDP, BJP, and JSP has been officially announced. "The BJP and TDP have a very old relationship together. TDP joined NDA in 1996 and has worked together successfully in Atal Ji’s and Narendra Modi Ji’ government. In 2014, the TDP and the BJP fought the Lok Sabha election and assembly election together. The JSP had supported the 2014 general and assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh." The statement from central BJP read.
Now that the alliance is confirmed, the response of the YSR Congress government is of quintessential importance now.
The scenario from the 2014 election when the three of the parties managed to defeat YSR Congress is repeating itself again in the 2024 election and this has become a topic of discussion now.
The onus is on YSR Congress to take revenge for the 2014 election when the three parties came together to defeat Jagan. When they came individually in 2019, they were thrashed to death by Jagan Mohan Reddy. Unable to bear his might, the three parties have collaborated again.
Individually, these parties combinedly polled 24 seats in the previous election so it is evident that they are fit for nothing on their own. What will be their performance in the 2024 election? How will YCP react to this alliance?
