JanaSena party activists and supporters used to proudly claim that their party will have a strong say in the seat sharing aspect of the alliance with Telugu Desam Party.
At one point, JSP leaders used to claim that their party will get a whopping 60 MLA tickets in the alliance and they would be fighting for more tickets is possible from the TDP.
But in the end, JSP was restricted to a grand total of 24 MLA seats and 3 MP seats. This adds up to 15% of the total MLA seats in Andhra Pradesh and this has led to JSP becoming a laughing stock.
After claiming that JSP will get 60 MLA tickets, JSP couldn't even secure half of that as they have been restricted to a bare minimum of 24 seats which is an alarming number.
Even JSP's hardcore supporters are displeased with the lack of respect for the party in the alliance. It appears that TDP is still seeing JSP as a minnow party and the numbers game associated with the seats distribution aspect.
