In 2014, TDP, JSP and BJP worked together to win the election and when they contested separately in 2019, BJP and JSP lost deposits in most areas while TDP settled with 23 MLA seats.
Again in 2024, these parties are collaborating to take on YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Interestingly, Jagan brought up this key topic in the assembly today and questioned the need for the same.
"What is the need for all opposition parties to unite and conspire against YSRCP if they think that the government did not fulfill its promises or did no good to the people?" Jagan stated.
By uniting against us, the Opposition has exposed itself. It is clear that they are scared of us because our government delivered welfare & development. Despite all of them being on one side against us, they still are not powerful enough, he remarked.
The fundamental point here is that all the opposition parties are coming together to take on one man, that is Jagan Mohan Reddy and this is not a wise practise. Jagan has neatly explained the same in the assembly which is the right way forward to take the illicit moves of the opposition into the public.
