Recently, the High Court of Telangana issued orders that the censor certificate of RGV's Vyooham has been revoked for aligning with the vested political interests and ordered the recensoring of the film. This film is intended to shed poor light on the TDP and JSP leaders while highlighting Jagan's character.
Now, another film that could potentially make it to the YCP bandwagon, Yatra 2, which is the sequel to Yatra which released before the 2019 election is also likely to face a tricky situation.
Noted Telugu producer Natti Kumar has written a letter to the censor board asking not to censor Yatra 2 now as it is a politically motivated film and releasing it before the elections is not good.
It is mentioned that the film comes with vested interests and it should not be censored before the polls. Natti wrote an affirmative letter to the censor board and it has to be seen what will be the judgement on the same.
Either way, it looks like the TDP ecosystem is clearly targeting YCP's films ahead of the elections which is a questionable method of operation but that is what TDP wants for now.
