There has been a long-standing complaint in the TDP ecosystem that Chandrababu Naidu has been sidelining the Nandamuri family for his own gains and to project his son Nara Lokesh as the face of the party.
Incidentally, Nandamuri Balakrishna came onto the screen after the arrest of CBN. He even sat on the chair usually used by CBN in TDP meetings. This gave an indication that Balakrishna might be the steering member of the party for the due period.
Balakrishna was even the one who spoke with the cadre and assured them of all possible support while CBN was in jail, and Nara Lokesh flew off to Delhi in the name of legal consultation.
However, much like in the past, the Nandamuri family has been sidelined again as Balakrishna has become a no-one again. There is no one to talk about him in the hierarchy now as immediately after CBN came out, Balakrishna became irrelevant.
Balakrishna also understood the situation and sidelined TDP for the time being and is getting busy with his film shootings. This is the refelction of the situations all the while as the Nandamuri family is used only during hours of crisis in TDP and once that is done, they will be seen as irrelevant people.
