Abiding by the court order, Nara Lokesh took part in the AP CID investigation today as he was summoned by the CID to appear for investigation with regard to the Amaravati Ring Road scam.
It is primarily understood that the CID questioned Lokesh about how the Heritage company managed to buy lands in bulk at the exact location where the outer ring road was proposed to be laid.
The investigation was aimed at extracting the statements from Lokesh so as to how the Heritage company and other individuals like Lingamaneni Ramesh who are close to him had the access to privileged information about the layout of the ring road.
It is understood from multiple media reports that Lokesh opted to skip answering most of the questions that were aimed at him and he instead decided to keep mum.
Lokesh didn't answer the questioned pertaining to how Heritage company made strategic investments at the land at which the IRR was proposed to be laid.
