AP CM YS Jagan seems to have formulated a master plan to once again gain victory in the 2024 general elections. To achieve his mission 2024, Jagan has strategically devised a unique plan called ‘Gruha Saradhi’.
The Gruha Saradhi concept involves assigning two volunteers for every 50 households where one of the volunteers will be a female under 18-35 years age group. Gruha Saradhis will receive no monthly salary, but they are entitled to receive insurance worth about Rs 5 lakhs.
The volunteer duo will be regularly visiting the 50 houses assigned for them and find out from the residents if they are receiving the government welfare schemes. The main objective behind creating these volunteers is ensuring there is loyal support for Jagan’s party at the grassroot levels. Moreover recently the State Election Commission has barred grama volunteers from electoral duties and therefore, this could be a new way of ensuring booth level voting for YSRCP.
