Telugu Desam Party scion Nara Lokesh had a failed political debut with his defeat from the Mangalagiri constituency in the 2019 elections. He has again announced that he will be contesting from here.
In this context, Lokesh has now shared a comical verdict on himself losing from Mangalagiri and Jagan winning from his fortess of Pulivendula.
"Jagan has fortess of Pulivendula which is a safe and sureshot seat for him. But I didn't want to have a safe launchpad. I wanted to prove myself from Mangalagiri, where TDP doesn't have a history of winning" Lokesh said.
This is being ridiculed by YCP supporters on social media. A YCP activist commented "Lokesh is the son of 14-years chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and he served in 3 ministerial positions while his father was in power. And after all this, he lost the election, which makes him a failed leader already. On the other hand, Jagan has the rich heritage of not losing a single election when he is in power or in opposition. Lokesh even comparing himself with Jagan is laughable.
