TDP senior and vocal leader Vallabhaneni Vamsi has been staying away from the Chandrababu-led party and moving closely with the ruling party, YSRCP. He hasn't joined the Jagan party yet but he is traveling with them and is all but confirmed to get the party ticket in the next election.
Coming to the topic, it is primarily understood that Vallabhaneni Vamsi is confirmed to be fielded from Gannavarm on YCP ticket.
Incidentally, Yarlagadda Venkat Rao who contested on YCP ticket in 2019 lost from Gannavaram by a slender margin of 800 votes to Vallabhaneni Vamsi.
Cut to now, Yarlagadda has left YCP and has joined TDP today. He vows to get TDP ticket from Gannavaram and contest against Vallabhaneni. "I will sit in the assembly next term and show Jagan what I am really made of. I am requesting CBN's appointment in front of the media now".
