Did Pawan and CBN breakup. TDP chief Chandra Babu Naidu and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan for long have been trying to increase the people's feelings against AP CM Jagan and the ruling YSRCP. Ever since Jagan assumed power in AP as the CM of the state, Chandra Babu was hellbent on defeating him by hook or crook in the 2024 elections or much earlier than that.
Pawan Kalyan too who suffered a crushing defeat in the last elections is also keen to avenge his defeat in the coming elections. Both met on multiple occasions and Pawan also went on record that he will ensure that opposition votes will not get split between various parties. He also made clear that his sole aim is to defeat Jagan and not to become the CM of the state.
During his meeting in Delhi with the BJP top brass, he told them about the need to have an alliance with Chandra Babu's TDP. But it seems they are now experiencing a breakup and are parting ways. Both are going competitive yatras. While Chandra Babu is going on yatra in Rayalaseema, Pawan Kalyan is going on Varahi yatra. What is surprising is that without maintaining silence, both are announcing their candidates in a few constituencies.
This shows that they are not interested in alliances and Pawan, many feel is keen that any party declare him the CM candidate. He feels BJP will declare him as the CM candidate in the coming elections and so he is proceeding ahead without caring for Chandra Babu.
