AP CM Jagan is known for many welfare and development schemes for the benefit of the poor and needy people. CM Jagan with the click of a button from his camp office in Tadepalli at 10 AM today, disbursed Jagananna Thodu funds.
Jagan with his action flagged of the disbursal not the seventh tranche of Jagananna Thodu to the small-scale vendors as an investment assistance. Jagan speaking on the occasion said "government has introduced the Jagananna Thodu scheme with the aim of supporting small traders and providing them with investment assistance. He said that the scheme has benefitted 5,10,412 beneficiaries, with a total profit of Rs. 560.73 crores, and opined that small businessmen are eligible to receive interest-free loans ranging from Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 13,000."
He added, "The government is now extending the Jagananna Thodu scheme to another 56,000 individuals." People who have a five-foot-long and five-foot-wide permanent or temporary business set up in their villages or towns are eligible for the ‘Jagananna Thodu’ scheme, Even the street vendors who sell vegetables and fruits, tiffin center people are eligible for the scheme. People who are keen to avail the interest-free loans should contact the volunteers or ward/ village secretariats.
