BJP comes down heavily on Jagan

AP BJP after the change in leadership in the state, started adopting an aggressive posture against CM Jagan and the YSRCP rule. AP BJP chief Purandeswari speaking to scribes, branded Jagan as corrupt and criticized the YSRCP rule.

She said "Jagan Reddy came to power after giving many promises but he failed to fulfill them. We have to explain this to the people. The state’s people are being made to bear Rs 10-lakh crore of debt. The YSRC government is giving alms with one hand and collecting double those with the other hand in the form of taxes. Crores were looted through the liquor and mining mafia."

She added that when a Dalit woman was raped in front of the CM's office, the government did not act. She said "The Jagan government doesn't care if a boy is burnt alive or a teacher is killed. The volunteers are not permanent. The YSRC government cheated the youth by promising them lakhs of jobs but it failed in this."

Purandeswari along with Union minister V Muraleedharan presided over the BJP’s state office-bearers’ meeting at the party office in Vijayawada. Muraleedaran said The ruling YSRC has lost its confidence due to corruption and irregularities. The BJP has organized several agitations against the anti-people policies of the state government," he claimed.

Muraleedharan added, "At the time of the 2019 elections, the Narendra Modi-led government had completed five years of its rule. Due to the false allegations by the opposition parties and based on the then situation in AP, the expected results were not achieved for the BJP in the state. Now, those situations have changed."
