Vijayamma, and Sharmila pay tribute to YSR on his birth anniversary. On the eve of former CM, YSR (YS.Rajasekhar Reddy) 74th birth anniversary, his wife Vijayamma and daughter Sharmila, president of YSRCTP paid their floral tributes. Vijayamma and Sharmila visited Idupulapaya and after paying their tributes to the most beloved leader at the YSR Ghat, they participated in the special prayers that were going on.
Following the differences between brother and sister, Jagan and Sharmila chose different times to pay their tributes to their father. This is for the first time, Jagan and Sharmila are paying their tributes separately. Till last year, Jagan, Sharmila, and Vijayamma used to come together and pay their tributes at the YSR Ghat.
Sharmila and Jagan parted ways and while Jagan is concentrating on AP politics, Sharmika is concentrating on Telangana politics. Vijayamma is supporting her daughter Sharmila at present. In the meantime, rumors are coming that Sharmila would merge her party in Congress. Recently Sharmila greeted Rahul Gandhi on his birthday. Now, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge remembered YSR and paid his respects.
He posted "YSR, who worked tirelessly for the development and welfare of the people of Andhra Pradesh, is remembered as a leader with immense love for the people,"
