Pawan Kalyan has been advocating unity in opposition ranks so that the anti-incumbency votes will not be divided. Many thought that Pawan Kalyan's Jana Sena and Chandra Babu's TDP will enter into an alliance. Chandra Babu and Pawan Kalyan met on a couple of occasions but now it seems that is the past.

Telugu Desam Party leaders have started a bus yatra from Kadiri Lakshminarasimha Swamy Devasthanam in Anantapur to take the Bhavishyat ki Guarantee manifesto announced by Chandrababu Naidu during Mahanadu. The bus yatra which started today will continue for ten days in the joint Anantapur district. The bus yatra is being conducted for ten days from the 23rd of this month.
