Mudragada gets Upma shock. Mudragada Padmanabham is a popular Kapu leader in Andhra Pradesh and he used to enjoy a huge following among Kapu youngsters. When he launched a protest for Kapu reservations, many came in support of him. However, he rejected Chandra Babu's promise of Kapu reservations ahead of the 2019 elections and supported Jagan believing that he would do justice to Kapus.
Now people are under the impression that Jagan did not do anything for the Kapus. The disgruntled Kapu community is looking towards alternatives and they feel that Pawan Kalyan's Jana Sena is the best bet. Inthe midst of all this, Mudragada took the side of Dwarampudi Chandrasekhar Reddy, whom Pawan Kalyan criticized and vowed to defeat him in the next elections. Mudragada's actions did not find the support of the Kapus.
Mudragada wrote a letter to Pawan and also asked 30 questions and dared Pawan Kalyan to contest either from Kakinada or Pithapuram and said he will fight against him. In the midst of all this, Jana Sainiks took a strong exception and started sending money orders to Mudragada saying they had the upmas served by him during the Kapu movement and now they are returning the money as he is working against them. They also said whatever is left, he can send it to his aide Dwarampudi Chandrasekhar Reddy.
