As elections are nearing, political activities across states is going on in full swing as politicians are actively touring public places and hosting public meetings.
Recently, during of his speeches, TDP leader, Nara Lokesh, the son of TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu made some comments against the Muslim community. During the Yuvagalam padayatra in Kurnool, Lokesh accused YSRCP local legislator Hafiz Khan of encroaching a huge area of land.
His comments didn’t go well with the community as AP Muslim Rights Protection Samithi expressed anger on Lokesh. They said that Nara Lokesh spoke to denigrate the Muslim community. To this extent, the members of the Muslim Rights Protection Samiti along with the Minority Commissioner filed a complaint against the Nara Lokesh.
In this case, it was stated in the complaint that there was no evidence against Hafiz Khan for land grabbing. The members of the Muslim Protection Committee requested that the AP Minority Commission immediately intervene and take action.
