It is said that when there is a need, one will go to any extent to get things done and hope that any day positive things will come their way. This seems to be true for the latest actions of TDP leader Chandrababu, who is eager to become the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh again, no matter what.
After the unexpected success in the MLC elections, TDP is in a good mood, and Chandrababu is taking advantage of this momentum. He is determined not to miss any opportunity to reduce the distance between himself and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
On the occasion of NTR's centenary, Chandrababu wrote a letter to thank Modi for releasing a special Rs. 100 coin with NTR's image on it. The TDP politburo also expressed their gratitude for the release of the special coin, and Chandrababu specifically thanked the Center for taking the initiative.
He expressed his appreciation to Modi for issuing the gazette notification on March 20th for the coin's release, stating that NTR saw Telugu as a symbol of their self-respect, adding that honoring NTR is equivalent to respecting the Telugu people. It appears that Chandrababu is trying to reconcile with Modi by taking advantage of this opportunity without giving up on his goals. It remains to be seen how Modi will respond to Chandrababu's letter.
