As the 2024 elections approach, there is a lot of political movement and shuffling happening among parties. Kanna Lakshminarayana, who was previously with the BJP, has now joined the TDP, which has strengthened the opposition party in the Guntur district.
However, TDP senior leader Rayapati Sambasivarao, who initially welcomed Kanna's entry, has now changed his mind and stated that he cannot work with Kanna due to previous issues, including Kanna's criticism of TDP chief Chandrababu and a court case involving Rayapati. Rayapati might have appeared like an Aparichitudu to CBN.
This sudden change has caused tremors among TDP leaders. Rayapati has also made demands for his son to receive an MLA seat and for the Narasaraopet MP ticket to not be given to a leader from Kadapa district. All of these political movements and statements have caused tension within the TDP in the Guntur district.
The reason for this sudden change of tone by Rayapati is not known.
