YS Sharmila has upped the ante in Telangana and she is now in limelight to take her political career forward. Although she is openly not on terms with her brother Jagan, she is fighting her battle in TS but not AP. At the same time anti-Jagan media hasn’t left a single chance to portray Sharmila as an enemy of Jagan.
Even Sharmila has refrained from taking a political stand against her brother. Regarding the transfer of Viveka murder case by CBI from AP to Hyderabad, the YSRTP head commented that soon the culprits will be caught and justice will be done for her cousin, Dr. Suneetha. However, when asked whether she is not satisfied with Jagan’s government's handling of the case, Sharmila stated that she doesn’t think so. Clearly, she is adopting a balanced approach between her cousin and her own brother in the Viveka case.
