The event commenced with MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao and Writers' Academy Chairman VV Ramanamurthy lighting the traditional lamp, symbolizing the illumination of Raju's legacy. Ganta Srinivasa Rao emphasized Visakhapatnam's burgeoning status as a film hub, revealing ongoing efforts to develop infrastructure akin to Ravindra Bharathi.
He lauded RVV Satyanarayana's portrayal of Alluri Sitarama Raju, stressing the film's importance in educating today's generation about the legendary freedom fighter.
RVV Satyanarayana, both producer and lead actor, shared his dedication to the role, revealing his rigorous training in sword fighting and archery.
