Kiran Abbavaram is back, and he's bringing a fresh wave of cinematic energy with "Dilruba," set to hit theaters this Holi, March 14th. After the success of "KA," Abbavaram is confident that "Dilruba," co-starring Rukshar Dhillon, will resonate with both youth and families.

"We've seen the final cut, and we're incredibly excited," Abbavaram shared. "The songs are a hit, the teaser and trailer have landed well, and the film truly respects its female audience. 'Dilruba' is a non-stop ride for 2 hours and 20 minutes, leaving you with a feeling of satisfaction."

Addressing potential concerns about the film's timing, as it was made before "KA," he clarified, "While a few scenes might feel familiar, the majority of 'Dilruba' is a fresh, new-age commercial experience."

Abbavaram revealed the film's unique premise: "We've been transparent about the story. It's a magical love story with a strong hero character. Sidhu, unlike typical heroes, believes 'sorry' and 'thank you' should hold real value. The concept of blending ex-lovers and current relationships is novel. Instead of conflict, we show genuine friendship and support."

Sidhu's character is a major highlight, driven by powerful beliefs and dialogues that will spark reflection. "Think Puri Jagannadh's characterizations," Abbavaram explained. "Why doesn't he apologize? What happened in his past? These questions will keep you engaged."

"Dilruba" is designed to appeal to everyone. "There's nothing offensive for families," Abbavaram assured. "Sidhu is a departure from my previous roles, more intense and layered. We've held back some key scenes from the trailer to preserve the impact."

Addressing the film's production timeline, Abbavaram stated, "We started this project three years ago, but other films released first. 'Dilruba' is a completely fresh approach. We're focused on delivering quality content."

As a producer under his own name, Abbavaram is deeply involved in every aspect of the film. "I plan to release at least three films annually from next year. 'K-ramp' is next," he revealed.

Reflecting on his career, Abbavaram acknowledged past missteps but emphasized his growth. "After 'KA,' audiences see me as someone genuinely striving for quality. I'm committed to maintaining that image."

He also shared his diverse lineup of upcoming projects: "I'm working on four distinct films: a cult love story, a youth entertainer, a family drama, and a three-part epic based on the search for Lanka Bindelu."

With "Dilruba," Kiran Abbavaram promises a compelling blend of romance, emotion, and entertainment, making it a must-watch this Holi.
