23 Movie Teaser Launch Event held

Director Raj R, known for "Mallesham" & "8 A.M. Metro," launches the hard-hitting teaser of "23" in collaboration with Rana Daggubati's Spirit Media.

Raj R, the acclaimed director of "Mallesham" and "8 A.M. Metro," is back with another compelling project, "23," inspired by true events. Produced by Studio 99, the film stars Teja and Tanmayi in lead roles, with Venkat Siddareddy as the executive producer. Rana Daggubati's Spirit Media will distribute the film. Following the release of the first look poster, the makers launched the teaser today.

The "23" teaser presents a gripping narrative against the backdrop of three massacres: the 1991 Sunduru massacre, the 1993 Chilakaluripeta bus burning, and the 1997 Jubilee Hills car bomb blast. It explores the emotional and social impact of these tragedies, the fight for justice, and the harsh realities of violence that shaped history.

Raj R's expertise is evident in his writing and direction, as he skillfully blends three distinct stories, each filled with powerful emotions. His ability to portray these narratives with depth is truly remarkable.

The lead actors deliver strong performances, bringing authenticity to their roles. Sunny Kurapati's impressive cinematography and Mark K. Robin's evocative score effectively enhance the narrative. The producers will soon announce the film's release date.

At the teaser launch event, Director Raj R said, "It's a blessing to find good actors. I found such actors in 'Mallesham.' All those actors got good breaks. Ananya, Darshi, and Keshava from 'Pushpa' are all doing very good films. '23' also has such good actors. It's truly a blessing to find actors who perform on par with Malayalam cinema. Pawan and Tanmayi were very busy watching the edit before the film's release. I can't forget Jhansi garu's contribution. She did a good role in 'Mallesham' and will be seen in a very significant role in this film as well. Teja has a very different role in this and performed very well. As shown in the teaser, 23 people died in these crimes. That's why we named the film '23.' This film is on the side of human rights and those who didn't get justice. The aim of this film is to know that wrong is wrong. This film is against violence. I have shown what happened. I have shown many things that Beena garu told me. Three incidents happened, and many people died. But the question is, did everyone who killed get equal punishment? We have also shown the transformation of a person after going to jail. I want to make stories that I connect with. All the stories I have done so far are like that."

Beena garu said, "I don't know about movies. I can talk about jail. Raj called me and said he was writing a story about jail and asked to talk. He called many times. He wrote down my experiences very seriously. Jail is a different world. We can bring change with our words. We have to speak very bravely there. It's a pleasure to bring change in many people's lives with my words. Raj's vision is very impactful."

Actress Jhansi said, "Greetings to everyone. '23' is a wonderful concept. Raj garu is an honest filmmaker. It's an honor to be a part of this film. They have honestly told a real-life story. There is power in telling a story honestly. This film has substance and honesty. I believe the audience will come looking for such a film. '23' will be a great film that will remain in history."

Actor Teja said, "This is my debut film. My dream was to become an actor since childhood. I gave many auditions. I tried for almost 5 years.
