It is not often that one gets to know a few interesting secrets about big heroes but recently megastar Chiranjeevi gave a scoop which was surprising. He was giving an interview as part of his promotions for ‘Waltair Veerayya’ when a journalist asked a question.
He said “Long ago one big talk came that someone poisoned a cake and tried to kill you, is it true?” For this, megastar revealed the story. He said “This was during the ‘Marana Mrudangam’ shooting time. It was my birthday, fans came with cakes on the sets and one among them made me cut the cake and he tried putting a piece in my mouth with his hand. Usually I don’t like eating by hand, I use a spoon. But despite me saying no he put the piece in my mouth forcefully.”
He added “I felt it was bitter and tasted differently so I immediately spat it out. I asked what this is and those who were around me got suspicious, tested it and found out it was a bit poisonous. That person got thrashed and producer K S Rama Rao was there at that time. Later, that man revealed how he is a big fan of mine and mentioned ‘earlier you used to give me a lot of value but nowadays you are not, that’s why I went to Kerala and brought a paste to do ‘Vaseekarana’. That Kerala person said once you eat it, you will become attached to me. That’s what I did sir, why will I ever poison you’. Saying that, he cried a lot and that’s how that issue ended. Well, he expected something, we assumed something else and it turned out to be something else.” said Chiru.
