'Sankranthiki Vasthunnam' is a Miracle in My Life: Composer Bheems Ceciroleo
Victory Venkatesh, blockbuster director Anil Ravipudi, and the successful production house Sri Venkateswara Creations have collaborated on the highly anticipated movie 'Sankranthiki Vasthunnam.' Presented by Dil Raju and produced by Shirish, the film stars Meenakshi Chaudhary and Aishwarya Rajesh as the female leads. Sensational composer Bheems Ceciroleo is providing the music. The already released songs have become sensational hits and created a huge buzz for the film. 'Sankranthiki Vasthunnam' is set to release on January 14th. Music director Bheems Ceciroleo shared insights about the film in a press meet.
Q: How did this project start? How did you enter the project? Tell us about this journey?
A: First of all, thanks to the Telugu audience. I had the opportunity to work on Anil Ravipudi's film 'Patas,' but it didn't work out then. Finally, after 13 years, I got another chance to work with Anil. Thanks to Anil for giving me this opportunity.
I did the film 'Balagam' under Dil Raju's production. I received the Dadasaheb Phalke Award for it as a music director. Now, I have another opportunity to work with Dil Raju's production, along with Venkatesh and Anil. I consider all this as an honor given to my song. I am happy to have reached all of you through the song.
After consecutive hits like 'Dhamaka', 'Mad', 'Balagam', 'Rajakar', 'Tillu Square', 'Sankranthiki Vasthunnam' is a great opportunity for me. Working with Anil is fun and joyful. I learned a lot from him. If the songs of this film are being heard in every house and every village, it is because of Anil's passion for lyrics and music.
I consider it a blessing to work on a Venkatesh film. It felt like a dream that Venkatesh himself came and sang the 'Blockbuster Pongal' song in this film. This is an achievement for me as a music director. I learned a lot from Venkatesh. A miracle happened in my life. That miracle is called 'Sankranthiki Vasthunnam'.
I am happy that Ramana Gogula sang the 'Godari Gattu' song in this film, and it is currently trending with over 70 million views. I felt very lucky that Ramana Gogula agreed to sing my song. Madhupriya also sang wonderfully. I am happy that this song is being heard in every house. Similarly, the 'Meenu' song that I sang is trending with 17 million views. It is also very gratifying that the 'Blockbuster' song sung by Venkatesh has become a viral hit.
I have done the re-recording for this film. Just like the 'Blockbuster Pongal' song, I am confident that the Telugu audience is going to watch a blockbuster film. Seeing how greatly the audience has received the songs, I can see the progress and elevation of this film. I am proud to have done this film.
Q: What is the genre of this film?
A: This is a film that the whole family can watch together. It's a very clean entertainer. It will be enjoyable for everyone.
Q: How did you convince Ramana Gogula?
A: I have been a secret admirer and devotee of Ramana Gogula. I felt a connection with him when I heard his songs. When I was a lyricist, I wanted to write for his song. He agreed as soon as he heard this song. He said that there is soul in this song. It felt very happy that he gave such a compliment after giving so many musical hits. My heartfelt tribute to him and his song.
Q: What was your feeling when you were offered a film with Venkatesh?
A: I had never even seen Venkatesh in person. As soon as I learned that I was working on his film, the films and posters I had seen since childhood flashed before my eyes. However, Anil made my work easy. He was very clear about what he wanted. We worked very fast. The album came out so well because of the feedback given by Anil.
Q: About the lyric writers?
A: The 'Godari Gattu' song written by Bhaskara Bhatla brought us all respect. I am happy to have worked with Ramajogayya Sastry and Ananth Sriram. All the lyrics were written after the tunes were composed.
Q: About Dil Raju's support?
A: Dil Raju's support is amazing. He supported me and my song immensely. I am proud to have had the opportunity to work with a banner that has a history in the industry.
Q: You have climbed another step with this film. Will you only do big films next?
A: I think I have got the opportunity to work even harder, but I don't think I have climbed a step. I see it as an opportunity to work even harder and give work to even more people. I wish everyone could get work.
Q: It is often said that you understand the pulse of the people well?
A: I am one with the people. I take what people want from them and give it back to them.
Q: About new movies?
A: I am doing the films 'Mad 2', 'Mass Jathara', 'Tyson Naidu', 'Dacoit'.
