21st Nov, 2024 is a day I will remember for the longest time. In fact, the entire team of TTT will. Exactly a year back, Wrapped Candy Films LLC has embarked on a project to bring an ANTHOLOGY FILM, which is considered as one of the biggest collaborations by Indie filmmakers from the US and India.
Four directors, four stories, 100+ cast and crew shot over Dallas, San Francisco and other cities in 5 weeks. Entire pre-production and post production was done in Hyderabad. This film is entirely shot in the US. Deepak Karamungikar, Uday Govindarajula and I wrote the stories and original screenplay, which were aptly adapted by the respective directors with their own screenplay.
Four notable directors have helmed four different stories in Mystery/Thriller genres with the best of the production values for an edge-of-the-seat watching experience
Sourabh and Nikhil directed “The Secret Box”
Sujay directed “The Serendipity”
Pavan directed “The Imposter” and “The Blind spot”
The performances from Anil Sankaramanchi, Amulya Uppala, Brenna Spencer, Elaina, Gowthami, Gurudev Nagaraja, Jaiwant Pasupuleti, Nishita Vunnam, Phani Rampalli, Rishi Koushik, Sandhya Bayireddy, Sravanthi Prattipati, Suman Nagarkar, Uday Govindarajula and Vishal Vaddep were top notch and well appreciated.
Finally, the music composed by Avinash Baghel and Nami Li heightened the drama and created many goosebump moments during the anthology film. Also, I am grateful to the team of Open Face Worldwide for managing the entire post production. Vinod Nomula, Akhil Thomas, Pranesh Gotipamul and Mahesh Krishna Chowdary Alluri. My friends Sheetal, Kavitha, Rohini, Siddharth and Dev for readily helping me with dubbing.
We premiered “The Twisted Tales” in Fremont US, Dallas TX, and Atlanta GA on 21st, 22nd and 23rd Nov. All the shows got sold out. Due to unavailability of theatres, we could not continue the run.
As a creator of this anthology film, I take pride in every association with every team member, and I would like to thank the crew and cast for all the hard work, sincere #gratitude for all the hours (some odd hours too 😁) that they have spent on this production.
