Karthi and Aravind Swamy play cousins in the upcoming family entertainer 'Sathyam Sundaram', which is directed by C Prem Kumar. The film’s theatrical trailer was released today.
Speaking about the September 28th release in his latest interview, actor Karthi said that it can be likened to the kind of commercial yet sensible films that K Viswanath used to make. He added that, like in 'Oopiri' (starring himself and Akkineni Nagarjuna), 'Sathyam Sundaram', too, presents heart-touching emotions.
"This is the kind of film you would love to watch with your siblings, parents, grandparents. Director Prem Kumar had written it as a novel. He then made it into a movie," Karthi added.
"Govind Vasantha’s remarkable background score serves as the heart of the trailer, while Mahendiran Jayaraju’s minimalistic visuals beautifully capture the essence of the movie," the makers added. Edited by R Govindraj, 'Sathyam Sundaram' also features Sri Divya, Swathi Konde, and Devadarshini in important roles.
The Telugu version is being released by Asian Suresh Group.
