Actor Nandamuri Kalyanram is currently doing a film with director Pradeep Chilukuri. Referred to as NKR21 for the time being (because it is his 21st outing), the film has the super-talented Vijayashanthi in a prominent role. Produced by Ashok Vardhan Muppa and Sunil Balusu of Ashoka Creations and NTR Arts, the film is going to be action-heavy.
"Currently, we are shooting a huge action episode, which is going to take two weeks. India’s top stunt director Peter Hein is supervising this action block being canned on a grand scale with 150 fighters and 300 junior artists taking part in the shoot. This fight sequence is going to be one of the major highlights of the movie," the makers said.
Touted to be a big-budget outing, the 2024 release will have Vijayashanthi in a 'Karthavyam'-kinda role. Bollywood actor Sohel Khan, 'Major' actress Saiee Manjrekar, and Srikanth are also doing different roles. Ajaneesh Loknath of 'Kantara' and 'Mangalavaaram' fame is composing the music. Srikanth Vissa of 'Pushpa', 'Ravanasura' and 'Devil' fame is penning the screenplay. Ram Prasad is the cinematographer.
Kalyanram's NTR Arts has made 'Devara' on a massive scale. The film will hit the screens on September 27.
