Actor Dulquer Salmaan is joining forces with 'Mr. Bachchan' actress Bhagyashri Borse for his upcoming multi-lingual film 'Kaantha'. The film, directed by Selvamani Selvaraj, was launched on Sunday with a pooja ceremony at Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad.
Produced by a consortium of production houses, 'Kaantha' is expected to be a major pan-Indian film. More details about the film's plot and release date will be announced soon.
Produced by a dream team of Rana Daggubati, Swapna Dutt, and Dulquer Salmaan himself, 'Kaantha' is set to be a big-budget affair.
Dulquer Salmaan awaits the release of 'Lucky Baskhar' on October 31. Directed by Venky Atluri and produced by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, the crime drama stars Meenakshi Chaudhary as the heroine.
As for Rana Daggubati, he has presented the recent release, '35-Chinna Katha Kaadu'. Starring Nivetha Thomas, Vishwadev Rachakonda, Priyadarshi and others, the film has come in for critical acclaim. 'Kaantha' is Rana's one of the biggest projects. Last year, announcing 'Kaantha', the 'Baahubali' actor described it as so unique that it is something we haven't seen anytime before in India.
