Prolific producer TG Vishwa Prasad of People Media Factory has teamed up with director Sandeep Raaj of 'Colour Photo' fame for a film to be frontlined by Roshan Kanakala, the son of Suma and Rajeev Kanakala.
Titled 'Mowgli', the film is touted to be a contemporary love story set against the backdrop of a jungle. The film's first look was unveiled on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. The male lead is seen embracing a horse in the middle of a dense forest.
The title of the film has been consciously named after a popular character from Jungle Book. 'Kartikeya 2' fame Kaala Bhairava is composing the music. "Rama Maruti M, who worked as a chief associate cinematographer for blockbuster projects like the 'Baahubali' duology and 'RRR', will handle the cinematography," the makers said.
'Mowgli' will hit the screens either in April or May 2025.
Roshan Kanakala made his debut with the film 'Bubblegum', which was released last year. Since 'Mowgli' is produced by People Media Factory, he can be assured of its smooth release and rich production values.
