'Mangampeta' is the title of an upcoming village-based action drama frontlined by Chandrahaas K and Ankita Saha. The film's Glimpse video shows a mother asking her son to take her to her ancestral village, which has been terrorized by a group of villains led by a demonic antagonist. The son heroically promises his mother to cleanse the village of the Rakshasas. The mother, on her part, exhorts him to vanquish the village's Ravana himself.
Produced by Guntaka Srinivas Reddy under Bhaskara Entertainments and helmed by director Gautam Reddy, 'Mangampeta' combines the influences of films like 'Rangasthalam', 'KGF' and 'Akhanda'.
"The film’s technical prowess extends to its music, composed by Poonik G, which enhances the cinematic experience with its vibrant score," the makers said. Naga Mahesh, Kabir Duhan Singh, 'Kalakeya' Prabhakar of 'Baahubali' fame, Dayanand Reddy, Esther Noronha, Prudhviraj, Tamil actor Adukalam Naren, Sammeta Gandhi, '14 Reels' Nani, Eeshwar Rajnal, Sameer, and Dora Babu are playing different roles.
With the story, screenplay and dialogues written by Kamal VV, the film is edited by PJR.
