'Stree 2' Shatters Box Office Records, Outperforms 'Animal', 'Pathaan'

The horror-comedy sequel, 'Stree 2', has made a sensational debut at the box office, surpassing the opening day collections of some of the biggest blockbusters in recent times. The film has outperformed Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathaan', Ranbir Kapoor's 'Animal', 'KGF 2 (Hindi version)', 'War', and 'Thugs of Hindostan', setting a new benchmark for the genre.

With a phenomenal opening day collection of Rs 64.80 Cr, including Rs 9.40 Cr from Wednesday previews, 'Stree 2' has not only eclipsed the entire first-week earnings of its predecessor 'Stree' but has also dominated the box office, leaving competitors like 'Khel Khel Mein' and 'Vedaa' far behind.

The film's extraordinary performance is attributed to its ability to strike a perfect balance between horror and comedy. Industry experts are hailing 'Stree 2' as a game-changer, proving that the horror-comedy genre has immense potential to deliver massive box office successes.

Led by Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, the film is directed by Amar Kaushik. It also features Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana.
