Kamal Haasan today announced that he won't be hosting the upcoming season of Bigg Boss Tamil. The actor-politician cited his prior cinematic commitments as the reason for his inability to host the reality show.
"I have been privileged to reach you in your homes. You have showered me with your love and affection, for which you have my everlasting gratitude. Your spirited and passionate support of the contestants is at the core of what makes Bigg Boss Tamil one of the best television reality shows in India," Kamal wrote, adding that being a Bigg Boss show host was an enriching experience.
On the film front, Kamal is doing 'Indian 3' and Mani Ratnam's 'Thug Life'. Shankar's 'Indian 3' is done for the most part. Only post-production works are pending. The film will be a 2025 release. 'Thug Life', too, is a 2025 release. The 'Vikram' actor will also be doing 'Kalki 2'.
