At the pre-release event of 'Thangalaan', actor Vikram said that the movie has surprises in store. Not everything special in the Independence Day release has been revealed through the promotional material released so far.
The makers are highlighting the adventure and action aspects of 'Thangalaan', which will hit the screens on August 15.
There is also an element of fighting oppression. Director Pa.Ranjith, speaking at the event on Sunday in Hyderabad, said that inequality must be fought vehemently through art. The director of 'Kabali' and 'Kali' spoke of the need to use art as a voice for social change.
'Thangalaan' will have a major release in Telugu. Parvathy Thiruvothu, Malavika Mohanan, Pasupathy, Daniel Caltagirone, Hari Krishnan, Preeti Karan, Vettai Muthukumar and others are part of the cast.
