Prabhas has overtaken his fellow big stars from Tollywood in terms of coming out with the highest number of releases after the pandemic.
He has had three releases in a short period of time (we are not counting 'Radhe Shyam'). 'Adipurush' was released in June 2023. 'Salaar' was released in December 2023. 'Kalki 2898 AD' was released in July 2024. So, it took him just 11 months to have three releases - all pan-Indian. And two of them made profits.
His fourth theatrical release will be in April 2025. 'The Raja Saab' is up for release on April 10, 2025. So, he will have had four movie releases in just 22 months.
What is more, Prabhas will be shooting for 'Kalki 2', 'Spirit', 'Salaar 2' and Hanu Raghavapudi's movie in the next one year. How many of these will be completed by the end of 2025 is left to be seen.
At this rate, he is overcompensating for the scarcity of releases from 2014 to 2022.
Prabhas has comfortably overtaken Allu Arjun, Jr NTR and Ram Charan, who have had very few releases after the pandemic. Bunny had just 'Pushpa: The Rise'. Jr NTR and Charan had just 'RRR'.
