Producer TG Vishwa Prasad is not-so-happy with the publicly available rumoured numbers regarding his Independence Day release, 'Mr. Bachchan'. While it is a ritual for trade analysts to put out the value of theatrical deals concerning big-ticket movies, in the case of Ravi Teja's movie, the producer has asked the media to observe restraint in view of the confidential nature of such deals.
"People Media Factory believes in keeping business details confidential. We request the enthusiastic investigative journalists out there to respect our private information and keep it confidential," the producer wrote on social media. The phrase "enthusiastic investigative journalists" was directed at a specific film journalist who had quoted concerned distributors in his trade report.
Interestingly, Harish Shankar, too, had a beef with the trade report.
Trade reports about pre-release business are rarely accurate. Distributors quote one figure, while producers dispute it in private.
As for 'Mr. Bachchan', the film has music by Mickey J Meyer. Bhagyashri Borse is its heroine. Jagapathi Babu plays the antagonist.
