For months, producer Dil Raju has said that the release date of 'Game Changer' is in the hands of director Shankar. "The ball is in his court. Don't ask me about the release date," the producer has said twice in the past.
On Monday, the Tollywood media finally got the opportunity to seek an update from Shankar himself. Shockingly, he refused to give a specific answer even though the question was generous. "Will the movie be releasing in cinemas this year at least?" The question was as liberal as it could get.
Yet, Shankar refused to commit to anything. "Fifteen days of shoot is pending to be wrapped up. Final edit will have to be completed thereon. Only then will the release date be locked. I am not the only one who gets to decide the release date," the director said.
Shankar's response has caused frustration in Ram Charan's fans. They are taking out their ire against him on social media. "Could he have not said something like, 'Yes, it will be released this year?' Is that too much to expect from him?" a fan asked.
