'Darling', which stars Priyadarshi and Nabha Natesh as the lead pair, will hit the screens on July 19. Its Trailer launch event was held today in Hyderabad.
Speaking on the occasion, chief guest and actor Vishwak Sen said, "Priyadarshi is extremely fortunate to have got to do films like 'Balagam' and 'Mallesham'. I am very happy for him. The trailer for 'Darling' is exciting. Director Aswin Raam seems to be a man of talent. I feel happy when I see Nabha Natesh on screen. She went through a bad road accident a couple of years ago. She was homebound for months when she was receiving many offers. I wish her and the entire team all the best."
Nabha said, "I have some comfort films that I watch whenever I feel low. 'Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi' is one of those movies. Coming to 'Darling', I have done this movie when I recouped my strength after a gap of two years following a road accident. 'iSmart Shankar' was an out-and-out commercial movie. 'Darling' is a contrast in terms of the nature of its genre. We participated in acting workshops before the film went on the floors."
Priyadashi said, "I hope you all liked the Trailer. I hope you guys are going to watch our movie on July 19. I am truly honoured to have worked with a team of friends. Director Aswin Raam is the one who chose the title 'Darling', a word popularized by Prabhas anna. Niranjan Reddy, the producer of 'HanuMan' fame, has bankrolled this movie. Chaitanya Reddy is the other producer. I thank Nabha for acting opposite me. There is so much to talk about her acting and character in 'Darling'. Thanks to her acting, my job became easy."
The film also features Ananya Nagalla, Brahmanandam, Vishnu Oi, Krishna Teja and others.
