'House of the Dragon Season 2': Jio Cinema streaming details revealed

House of Dragons S2 will be released on Sunday (June 16). Ahead of its release on OTT, the American fantasy drama has come to occupy the mind space of its potential fandom.

"The second season will premiere exclusively on HBO TV channel and the episodes will be available to stream on Max the same day. New episodes will be released every Sunday at 9 pm, ET/PT," a report says.

In India, the series will exclusively stream on Jio Cinema Premium at 6:30 am for those with the required subscription plan, from June 17. New episodes will be made available for streaming on each Monday in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali, and Marathi.

Created by George RR Martin and Ryan Condal, this is a prequel to 'Game of Thrones'. "Featuring an ensemble cast, the show portrays the events leading up to the decline of House Targaryen, a devastating war of succession known as the Dance of the Dragons," the series' Wikipedia page says.

In its review, Firstpost said, "The second season starts with a gloomy and dull phase establishing the Targaryen family and their relationship with each other. However, in the second half, a chain of events brings back the charm which will lead to twists and some repercussions of the actions."

Starring Paddy Considine, Matt Smith, Emma D'Arcy, Rhys Ifans, Steve Toussaint and others, the show is based on 'Fire & Blood' by George RR Martin.
