Actor Sree Vishnu and director Hasith Goli of 'Raja Raja Chora' fame have joined hands for 'SWAG'. TG Vishwa Prasad of People Media Factory is producing the comedy entertainer.
On Sunday, the team of the film unveiled the poster of actress Meera Jasmine, who is playing Uthpalaa Devi in the movie. Known for her pairing with Pawan Kalyan in the 2004 film 'Gudumba Shankar', Meera will be seen in an idiosyncratic role and a Queen wannabe in the movie. "Devi loses the opportunity to enthrone herself on the throne, ironically, due to her level-headed and empathetic nature," the makers said, sparking curiosity in the character. Heavy jewelry and regal attire adorns her look.
"The World of SWAG brings to you the QUEEN that reigned all our hearts, Meera Jasmine on-board. Our 'accha Telugu cinema' has a lot in store. Brace yourselves," People Media Factory, which awaits the release of 'Manamey' on June 7, said.
The pre-release promotional material of 'SWAG' continues to be curious, with Ritu Varma of 'Pelli Choopulu' fame playing a pivotal role. The film's cinematography and music are by Vedaraman Sankaran and Vivek Sagar, respectively. Edited by Viplav Nyshadham, the comedy caper's release date is not known yet.
