It is no secret that UV Creations' Vamsi Krishna Reddy has close rapport with CM Jagan Mohan Reddy. This is the reason why UV Creations' big event films tend to get ticket hike amenities easily from the government.
But in the case of Prabhas's Kalki, an interesting scene is being observed as the film is funded by Ashwini Dutt who is a stoic supporter of the Telugu Desam Party.
Now that Jagan looks poised to take charge as the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh for the second time, the first big ticket Telugu film to release after his second tenure as the CM would be Kalki.
With June 9th being proposed to be the date for the swearing-in ceremony of Jagan, the Prabhas starrer is set for release on the 27th of June. It has to be seen if Jagan will permit special ticket hikes and additional shows for Kalki once he takes charge again. This has already become an interesting discussion much in advance to the film's release.
