Religious OTT platform Hari Om sparks a controversy

OTT platform Ullu is known for its adult content. In the past, many found fault with its objectionable content. Its founder, Vibhu Agarwal, has announced the launch of a religion-only streaming platform called Hari Om. As per him, its focus will be on mythological and religious content from this June.

Not many feel that the founders are sincere in their intentions. Gems Of Bollywood, a social media handle accused of policing Bollywood, expressed its reservations. "We filed complaints against Ullu App over its vulgar pedophilic content in the past. They were forced to remove content under pressure. They will now make money by selling religion," the handle wrote.

"A degenerate adharmi who has been serving p0rn to Indians will now teach them about Hindu Dharma. Kaliyug couldn't have become worse," lamented a social media user. "This is like a cigarette company opening a cancer hospital. A liquor/drug mafia opening a rehabilitation center. People having more kids starting a condom company," quipped The Fault News.

"Vibhu Agarwal is a classic businessman. First, he tapped into the mindset of India's youth by launching a soft p0rn streaming platform. After its success, he is now venturing into the religious field. He knows he can profit from just these two areas," opined Danny.
