Krish Jagarlamudi's only option after HHVM fiasco: Small-scale movies

Krish Jagarlamudi's career is currently hanging in the balance. The other day, it became clear that he has bowed out of 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu' as a director. He will continue to steer the project as a supervisor. And he is least likely to direct the second part of the Pawan Kalyan-starrer.

A few years ago, he had a feud with Kangana Ranaut and opted out of the Bollywood film 'Manikarnika'. Like 'HHVM', 'Manikarnika', too, was a period drama. Had that film given him fame in Bollywood, his career would have been on a different level today. Had 'HHVM' been released in time and become a hit, his career would have been something else today. Both didn't happen the way he would have expected them to.

The two NTR biopic movies, 'NTR: Kathanayakudu' and 'NTR: Mahanayakudu', nearly decimated his filmography. They were disasters.

Krish is currently doing a small film named 'Ghaati' with Anushka Shetty. This is for Amazon Prime Video. In the past, he was effective with 'Gamyam' and 'Vedam', which are considered his best films to date. His 'Kanche' was decent as well. If works,'Ghaati' Krish will know where he is ideally headed.
