Director Mohanakrishna Indraganti of 'Ashta Chamma' and 'Sammohanam' fame is doing a light-hearted comedy this year. 'Jathi Ratnalu' and 'Om Bheem Bush' actor Priyadarshi and actress Roopa Koduvayur are its lead pair. Produced by Sridevi Movies, the film's launch event was held today in Hyderabad. The first schedule is ongoing already.
Speaking on the occasion, producer Sivalenka Krishna Prasad said, "I am very happy to be doing a film with Mohanakrishna Indraganti, who is a dear friend of our Sridevi Movies and who is very close to me. This is our third collaboration after 'Gentleman' and 'Sammohanam'. This is an apt subject for Priyadarshi, who became famous as a male protagonist with 'Balagam'. Roopa Koduvayur is playing the female lead in this film, which I would like to describe as a cute entertainer. We are going to give the audience solid entertainment laced with emotions. The film will be like Jandhyala garu's film made for today's times. The shooting has started in Hyderabad from today."
VK Naresh, Tanikella Bharani, Avasarala Srinivas, Vennela Kishore, Viva Harsha, Sivannarayana and others are essaying different roles. Some of these artists can bring the roof down if the comedy situations are strong. Vivek Sagar, with whom Indraganti has worked in the past (on 'Sammohanam' and 'Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali'), is the composer on board.
Since Indraganti is known for planning everything in detail in the pre-production phase, expect the shoot of this film to be wrapped up fast!
