'Kaliyugam Pattanamlo’, written and directed by Ramakhanth Reddy, stars Vishva Karthikeya and Aayushi Patell in the lead roles. The film is slated to hit the screens on March 29.
In his interview today, the film's director spoke about the rich blend of realistic situations and drama that can be expected from the movie. He also thanks producers Dr. Kandula Chandra Obul Reddy, G Maheshwara Reddy and Katam Ramesh.
The film has received a boost with Annapurna Studios doing its release the coming Friday.

The story is set in Nandyala. The town has geographical proximity with the Nallamalla forest region. The jungle and herbs with medicinal properties have a link in the story.

I reached out to several actors who had previously appeared in one or two films, but they were hesitant to take on the intense character. Then I stumbled upon Vishva's profile. Upon hearing the story, he boldly expressed his commitment to the role. It was a courageous decision on his part, and I admired his confidence. While he had portrayed softer roles in his previous movies, this film presented a completely different challenge in terms of characterization. I believe this movie will stand as a significant milestone in Vishva's career, and he will be remembered for his performance in it in the years to come.
None of the producers have a film background. One of the producers, Mahesh, is my cousin. Obul Reddy garu and Ramesh garu joined after liking the story. The former owns educational institutes. He listened to the story and gave a nod immediately.
There are four songs in this movie. One revolves around the mother's character. Another one is a romantic song. The third one is an item song, while the fourth one is the title song. The title song and item song were written by Chandra Bose. The other two songs were written by Bhaskaratabhatla. The music has been done by Ajay Arasada.
