SS Karthikeya, the son of SS Rajamouli, has tasted unexpected success with the recent Telugu release of 'Premalu'. Estimates say that the film will gross more than Rs 15 Cr by the end of its box-office run. He is today in the news over his collaboration with Shobu Yarlagadda, the producer of 'Bahaubali'. Fahadh Faasil, who is known to the Telugu audience thanks to 'Pushpa', will be the hero of the two movies.
'Oxygen' is the title of the first project. Helmed by newcomer Siddharth Nadella, it will narrate the tale of friendship. However, it is not going to be an old-school friendship tale with melodrama. Hints are thrown that it will be novel. Apparently, the film is inspired by "true events".
'Don’t Trouble the Trouble' is the title of the other film. No, it is not a spoof or a parody. It is a fantasy entertainer. Directed by newbie Shashank Yeleti, the film will hit the screens in 2025.
The makers described the two projects as "amazing". They also added, "We are introducing two talented directors Shashank and Siddhartha with these two projects and that brings with it its own responsibilities."
