Last year, producer Razesh Danda tasted exceptional success with 'Samajavaragamana'. Last month, his 'Ooru Peru Bhairavakona' became a profitable venture. On Tuesday, marking his birthday, he interacted with the media to speak about his plans.
Focus is on 'Bachhala Malli':
This film stars Allari Naresh in a unique role. Since it is a period drama unfolding in the 1990s, the shoot has been done in genuine locations around places like Annavaram and Tuni. I have previously worked with Naresh on the social thriller drama 'Itlu Maredumilli Prajaneekam'.
My USP as a producer:
Every producer has his priorities. My priority is the story. My films must feature fresh plot points. That's what I look forward to.
Expanding my horizons:
In 2025, I might announce a big-ticket film with a pan-Indian hero. I will be doing a film each with Sundeep Kishan and Kiran Abbavaram. The former's film is helmed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina. Prasanna Kumar has scripted it. A story earlier offered to Chiranjeevi garu has been modified to suit Sundeep Kishan's image. Its story is going to be very interesting.
Controlled budgets:
So far, all my projects have been on the dot in terms of shooting schedules. Since 'Ooru Peru Bhairavakona' was a difficult project to execute, some delays were inevitable. My heroes so far (Sundeep Kishan, Sree Vishnu and Allari Naresh) have been my friends. I get to execute my vision, thanks to my rapport with them. I hope to continue to receive a similar level of support from my future heroes as well.
